First Republic Brings In Ex-Merrill Team

US-listed First Republic Bank has recruited a wealth management team from Merrill Lynch.

The team is led by Jim Atwood, joining First Republic Private Wealth Management. Atwood is joined by senior team members Jeff Atwood, Tom O’Brien, Julie Rousseau, McClane Cover, Brendan York, and Zach Calahan, along with client services and operations professionals. 

The group, formerly of Merrill Lynch, will provide investment management, retirement planning and other wealth management services to individuals, families, businesses, non-profits and foundations.

Atwood has more than three decades of experience directing the design and development of customized wealth strategies for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
